Another Trailer Fire

Pinewood Acres - und 11:30 on Saturday night, Kent County 911 began to take several calls reporting a trailer fire in the 200 block of Scotch Pine Drive in Pinewood Acres MHP. Cheswold was dispatched and Engine 43-2 arrived to find a single-wide trailer with smoke showing. Crews quickly located the fire and extinguished it.

Units on scene: Engine 43-2, 43-3, Rescue 43, and ambulance A-43.

Working House Fire

West Denney's Road - 1524 Hours, Cheswold and Hartly for a Tanker Company were dispatched for a house fire on W. Denney's Road. 432 went onscene with "Smoke Showing". 432's crew advanced a hose line inside to extinguish the fire while Hartly laid a supply line to 432. 513's crew advanced a second line to the interior. A Beagle was pulled from the house and given aid with no success. The fire was put under control......

MVC with Entrapment

Messina Hill Rd/ North Dupont Hwy - 0210 Hours, Cheswold Was dispatched to an MVC with entrapment on N. Dupont Hwy in the area of Messina Hill Rd. A43 found a car in a wooded area with the passenger side of vehicle against a fence. The patient was lying in the passenger side floor. Crews from Rescue 43 and 433 cut the fence away and took the drivers side door of after removing brush for the area. Patient was extricated and transported......

Working Trailer Fire

Pine Wood Acres - 0219 Hours, Cheswold was dispatched to a trailer fire in Pine Wood Acres. 432 went onscene with "Smoke Showing". The crew for 432 made forcible entry into the home and advanced a hoseline to extinguish the fire. The fire was in the kitchen, and bedroom and was quickly extinguished. Garrison's Lake - eral members participated in water rescue evolutions using our "new" boat.

3 vehicle wreck
8.3.2010
Bishop's Corner - swold was dispatched to a car wreck at North Dupont Highway and Fast Landing Road (Bishops Corner) around 8 pm. Units arrived to find 3 vehicles with one subject injured. Crews removed the patient from the vehicle and tranported by ambulance.

Units: Ambulance A-43, Rescue 43, Engine 43-3, & Brush 43-0.

Several trapped and injured
7.8.2010
Seven Hickories - swold Fire Company, Kent County ALS, and the DSP helicopter were alerted for a car crash with rollover at the Seven Hickories intersection. Units arrived to find two vehicles with 5 patients with 3 of them trapped. Crews began to assess and extricate the patients while Deputy Brown requested several more ambulances and another helicopter.
