Assist Clayton on a House Fire

Heritage Trace - Cheswold was alerted to assist Clayton (45) on a garage fire early Tuesday evening.  Clayton's Deputy Chief Lightcap arrived to find a garage fire that was threatening to spread into the attached house.  He passed command to Chief Robbie Johnson, who ordered the crew from 45-3 to attack the garage fire and the crew from 43-2 to take a hose into the house.  He also upgradedthe......

Accident with one trapped

Seven Hickories - Cheswold was dispatched to a reported accident at the Seven Hickories website West of town.  Deputy Chief Dempsey arrived and found one subject trapped and one other injured person.  Ambulance B-43 and Rescue 43 arrived and began extrication and patient care.  An ambulance from 64 (Smyrna) responded to transport the second patient.  The patients were removed and transported......

Leipsic - Cheswold was alerted to assist Leipsic on a house fire on Front Street.  A large column of smoke was visible for several miles away as we rushed to the scene.  Upon the arrival of 43-2, Leipsic had an engine and tanker on the scene and had the fire knocked down.  Personnel from Cheswold & Little Creek helped mopped up and then all units were cleared.

Car Fire

Kenton Road - swold was alerted to a car fire on Kenton Road around noon on Christmas Eve. Command 43 & Rescue 43 arrived to find a car with a fire in the engine compartment. The crew quickly extinguished the fire and cleared the scene.

Central Church Rd - ly this morning, Cheswold was dispatched to assist the Clayton Fire Company on a house fire on Bryn Zion Road. Rescue 43 arrived just after Clayton's first engine. Clayton had a hose crew working on a dryer fire and had laid a supply line. Cheswold's crew was directed to pick up the supply line and start searching the home and opening windows for ventilation. Trailer Fire

Pine Wood Acres - December 2 at 0400 Hrs, Cheswold and Leipsic Fire Companies were dispatched to a working trailer fire. Assistant Chief Whitby in Command 43 arrived to find Fire Showing through the roof of a double wide mobile home. 432 under the command of Chief Brown arrived and laid a supply line and the crew advanced a handline into structure. Other units arrived to assist in suppression and overhaul.

McKee Road - le returning from fire school, Cheswold & Leipsic Fire Companies were alerted to a possible trailer fire on Mckee Road outside of town. Assistant Chief Whitby arrived on scene to find a single-wide manufactured home with a smoke condition inside. The crew from engine 43-4 investigated and found an outlet that had caught fire.
