Cheswold was alerted to an overturned vehicle on West Denney's Road near Carlisle Village. Assistant Chief Dempsey (43-18) arrived to find 3 patients serious patients and requested additional resources. All three patients were transported and one did not survive. The Dover Police Department is investigating the incident.
Units: Ambulance A-43, Rescue 43, Engine 43-2, Ambulance A-63 (Dover), Ambulance A-64 (Smryna), multiple paramedic units from Kent County EMS, Troopers 2 & 4 (DSP Aviation), Deldot, and police units from Delaware State Police, Dover Police, and Captital Police.
Assistant Chief Dempsey was in command.
