Truck into a Building

The Kent County Special Operations Team (based in Cheswold) was requested by the Frederica Fire Company to shore up a building that had been struck by a truck. The team arrived and assessed the building and found the front wall was comprimised. A vertical shore was constructed and installed and the local tow company removed the vehicle safely.

Units Responding: Frederica Fire Company, Special Operations 43-1, 43-10, Rescue 51 Air/Light 51, and Kent County EMS Tango 1.

Frederica Fire Chief Jerry Johnston had command.
